Empowering Connections at the Global Women’s Trade Summit in South Africa

I recently had the privilege of attending the Global Women’s Trade Summit (GWTS) on August 28-29, 2024 in South Africa. This event brought together an incredible mix of women entrepreneurs and industry leaders from 12 countries.

Graced by dignitaries of several countries, I am happy and honoured to meet with the High Commissioner of Singapore to South Africa, His Excellency Zainal Arif Mantaha at the GWTS and the High Commissioner of South Africa to Singapore, Her Excellency Charlotte M Lobe at the summit. I am also happy to meet with the Ms Diana Abruzzi, Founder and international Chairman at International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry (IWFCI) for the first time.

It was also such a pleasure celebrating the Singapore National Day in South Africa on the grounds of the High Commission of the Republic of Singapore. Thanks to the High Commissioner for the invitation. This has boosted my national pride in a foreign land.

The 2-day GWTS ended with a Gala Dinner with African dance performances as we soaked in African culture with new friends at the summit. Thanks to IWFCI South Africa for hosting such a great Global Women’s Trade Summit!
